From Silence to Alerts: Gestalt-Based Sound Design Using Bouba/Kiki Concepts in Smart Home Environments.

The broad goal of this research study is to explore how different types of sounds, particularly those with varying levels of auditory roughness in this case summarised as within the concept of Kiki/Bouba, may affect human responses to smart home alarms and notifications.
